Kathie Brodie is a Certified Hypnotherapist, Inverse Wave Practitioner and Reconnective Healer. Kathie can help you lose your baggage -- without going to the airport!
Kathie's early fascination with Edgar Cayce started her on the path to be a healer back in high school. Her exploration was put on hold for many years, and then she rediscovered a yearning deep inside, so she studied Reiki and used that for many years. She was absolutely thrilled because it was the first organized healing modality that she learned and she was having great results with it. The next step was an attraction to the teachings and philosophy of Caroline Myss and Norm Shealy, so she studied with them for two weeks in 2001 and learned about Sacred Contracts and the Anatomy of the Spirit. Quantum-Touch sounded intriguing so she completed courses in that. Then she took classes from Eric Pearl and mastered The Reconnection and Reconnective Healing, which seemed even better than Reiki and Quantum-Touch and more hand-on than analyzing the Sacred Contracts of clients. The Reconnective Healing modality was having even better results than Reiki did. It was now about 10 years later and everything was speeding up and Kathie was beginning to sense that there was something more. She was getting closer now that she had at least three choices of healing modalities, but she felt there was still something missing.
At about this time she was introduced to the Lightworker website where Steve Rother has his home base and channels The Group. Then she was trained in hypnotherapy and saw amazing results and she realized that with even more modalities she could assess the needs of her clients and suggest what she thought would be best for them. Sometimes she would combine hypnosis and a relaxation visualization with some energy healing treatments.
She still kept feeling like there was more. Working with a client's subconscious while the client was hypnotized, particularly in changing habits such as smoking and working with issues such as weight was even more powerful than just hypnosis alone. The results in hypnosis were very good, but they were dramatic when she added interaction with the client's subconscious in a session. Now she was beginning to develop her own individual and unique approach to healing.
In the summer of 2006, Inverse Wave Therapy was introduced and it seemed to incorporate all the good parts of everything she had learned. She finally felt like she had arrived! There is an element of total relaxation in IWT, just as there is in a relaxation hypnosis session. There is regression and talk therapy, just as there is in hypnosis. There is gentle hand and foot massage, just as there is in Swedish massage. There is a listening and analyzing of problems, just as there is in Spiritual Psychology. IWT incorporates tuning forks and singing bowls to introduce a positive frequency which will balance the negative frequency so the client can rewrite his/her emotional blueprint. Maybe she had to study all the different modalities before she realized that this IWT is really the whole enchilada, so to speak.
What Kathie brings to the session is a smorgasbord of modalities and the capability to assess which one or two will be best suited to each client.
